What is Infrared Thermal Imaging?

Outside of the human eye's ability to see is a world of heat/thermal radiation that only recently has become detectable by technology.  It is the same visual world that some animals such as the snake have always made use of!

Bringing this normally invisible realm into view for people to see has opened this infrared spectrum to be utilized for diagnostic purposes.  Problems such as infection, injuries and inflammation emit greater amounts of heat than the nearby areas allowing a trained thermographer to capture this information on film.

Nerve impingements and circulation obstructions can be seen as cool or cold areas. When this data is analyzed by a doctor trained in reading thermal scans the information revealed can be life saving.

The Revolutionary Infrared Camera

Only the very highest class of infrared camera is approved by the FDA.  Advanced Thermal Imaging uses only this FDA approved class of thermal imaging technology able to get the most accurate and detailed subtleties of temperature variance.

The infrared detector in our camera can measure the slightest temperature differences while shooting in HD!  This combined with computer software for enhancement and analysis makes for previously impossible details to be recorded for professional analysis.

Medical Thermography

Adding Thermal Imaging to your “tool box” for breast health can be one of the most proactive steps you can take for the earliest detection of breast disease.

Thermography adds the dimension of physiology (function) for a higher rate of disease detection even in its infancy. When combined with structural imaging and a clinical breast exam- Your chances of detecting breast disease have substantially increased.

Thermography is a test of physiology. Because of DII’s extreme sensitivity in identifying metabolic activity and vascular circulation (which produces a heat signature).

DII may find thermal signs suggesting a pre-cancerous state of the breast or the presence of an early tumor that is not yet large enough to be detected by physical examination, mammography, or other types of structural imaging.

Current research has determined that the key to breast cancer survival rests upon its earliest possible detection.. If discovered in its earliest stages, 95% cure rates are possible. Thermal imaging is one of the most important adjunctive breast imaging procedures available

  • No compression

  • No radiation

  • FDA–approved as an adjunct to mammography

  • Safe and effective
